Why use skits for sensitization?
Unlike the everyday talking while addressing challenges, drama passes on a message with entertainment, with dramatic catchy phrases and it leaves behind lasting memories. With drama, the audience places themselves in the shoes of particular actors and hence adapting to their solutions to a particular challenge. Naturally, people believe more by seeing and this is what drama does because it brings them closer to reality than just the talking about something in an everyday way. Drama is manifestation of the saying “A picture paints a thousand words” and “seeing is believing”
